* do NOT contain any of the words I type in
* is written in a certain language

* within a certain domain, or website
* don't contain "adult" material
Who is Keturah Fleming?
Who is jam_in_i@hotmail.com?
I am a young lady from the island of Tortola, who is pursuing my Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Computer Technology. I am the proud mother of three children, two boys and one girl. I like to refer to this as a girl sandwich, because my daughter is the second child ( between the boys), thus a girl sandwich.
I am a teacher at the only public high school, there in Tortola. I teach the fourth and fifth forms. The Americans refer to this as eleventh and twelfth grades. I have taught at this high school for ten years, and I am loving every moment of it.
I am also marry to a wonderful man and a loving father for twelve year now. He is quite boring, but I just look at my children and realize that he is not that bad compared to some men out there.

Web 2.0 Journal
Our first assignment is to find out what is Web 2.0
I particular liked what Latoya Lewis posted about Web 2.0. Check this out.

CMS - Blackboard Journal
I love the feature that it offers.
Blackboard is the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which is used to deliver and support online learning either to supplement traditional courses in a blended learning approach, or to deliver distance programmes. The user does not need to install any software on their machines, but simply logs into the Blackboard site on an Internet web page.
Each course receives its own online space within Blackboard and only enrolled students have access to the course content. Instructors can communicate online with their students via discussion board, real-time chat and email functions, as well as upload learning and teaching materials. This can be done from any PC with Internet connection. Courses can be recycled for next year's student cohorts, or exported and imported at a later date with all data intact. Once a course has been set up, it is possible to reuse all areas without having to re-upload and or recreate the materials. In addition, elaborate statistics allow instructors to check on students' use of their Blackboard course.
This year I noticed that my Basic Research Techniques professor used recyled material form last semester this year. How cool is that.
Classroom Management - MS Office Journal
Using technology in the classroom is becoming easier for teachers. Students are coming to class with more skills. Whether a teacher requires it or not, most students use technology for their projects.
Probably the technology tool used most often for student projects is the World Wide Web.
Powerpoint Classroom Presentation Journal
When Tina, my professor for ESHS, showed/ told us that we can download our presentation slides to flickr, I was really interested.
I have downloaded almost all of my presentations to flickr and am now using them in my blogs.
I have learned a lot of usefull information in this class.
EDU 561 - Introduction to Computer in Education. Wow!
